What You'll Learn
Join us for a Raku Firing session in the stunning rural location of Hall Farm Gardens.
Maximum participants of six per session allows for hands on interactive learning.
I will provide you with four pots to decorate resulting in a variety of different amazing outcomes for you to take home afterwards.
-Copper Reduction- This process creates a beautiful metallic Copper Glaze.
-Crackle- A Process of coloured glaze with fine line crackles, a traditional Raku technique.
-Two Step- A fascinating process where the pot is coated twice in slip and glaze resulting in beautiful slivers of smoke lines.
-Feather or/and Horsehair - An exciting process where the pot captured the carbon from the hair and imprints zig zag lines across to the clay.
This day is about the experience of being hands on learning new methods and techniques. We start the day with pastries all day refreshments are provided as is a hamper lunch all included.
The beautiful Hall Gardens has its own moat for you to enjoy your lunch in an idyllic location.
